PERSONAL Originally from Mimico, Ontario, Canada, Foote moved to Suffern, N.Y., during middle school. She comes from a lacrosse-enthusiastic family; her father, William, was inducted into the Ontario Lacrosse Hall of Fame in 1997 and the Mimico Lacrosse Wall of Fame in 2009. Her older brother, Cullan, excelled in hockey and lacrosse, while her younger sister, Julie, played alongside her on Team Canada and was a teammate at Notre Dame. EDUCATION Foote earned her bachelor’s degree in marketing from the Mendoza College of Business at Notre Dame in 2006 and a master’s degree in guidance counseling from Long Island University in 2012. CURRENT Crysti Foote is embarking on her third season as a facilitator for Athletes Unlimited Pro Lacrosse in 2024. In her role, she continues to contribute her extensive experience and insights to the league, enhancing the competitive environment and mentoring emerging talent. She is the current Head Coach at Regis Jesuit High School, Owner & Founder of Best Foote Forward Lacrosse & Just won a Gold Medal with USA Women's Box National Team. COLLEGE EXPERIENCE Foote had a standout career as a four-year letter winner at Notre Dame from 2003-06. Over 66 games, she amassed 161 goals, 76 assists, 101 ground balls, and 103 draw controls. As a senior, she earned consensus First-Team All-America honors from the IWLCA, Inside Lacrosse, and WomensLacrosse.com, leading the Fighting Irish with an average of 3.89 goals and 6.0 points per game. Her impressive performance also earned her a spot as a finalist for the 2006 Tewaaraton Award. Foote was pivotal in leading Notre Dame to a 15-4 record and an NCAA semifinal berth. She was named the 2006 IWLCA Attack Player of the Year, set a program record with 114 points in a season, and ranks fifth in career goals and assists at Notre Dame. INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE Foote represented Team Canada in four World Lacrosse Women’s World Championships. Her contributions helped the team secure a Bronze medal in 2009 and a Silver medal in 2013, showcasing her skill and leadership on an international stage. COACHING EXPERIENCE Following her collegiate career, Foote began her coaching journey as an assistant coach at Drew University. She later joined Columbia’s coaching staff in 2008 and also served as the head coach at Madison High School before returning to Notre Dame as an assistant coach in 2010. After a four-year tenure as the offensive coordinator at the University of Louisville, Foote joined the University of Florida in 2016. There, she played a key role in securing back-to-back Big East Conference championships in 2016 and 2017. She later moved to New Jersey, where she was the director of Centercourt Lacrosse and head coach of Ridgewood Girls Lacrosse. Currently residing in Colorado, Foote is the founder and CEO of Best Foote Forward Lacrosse,& head coach of Regis Jesuit Girls Lacrosse, and an assistant coach for the USA Women’s Box Lacrosse team.
