A CLEARER RECRUITING PATH

Mosst lacrosse families are navigating the recruiting process with so many unknowns, no real roadmap, no honest answers, and no one who has actually been on both sides of the table.

Both Crysti Foote and Brittany Read have over 20 years of experience.

Crysti coached at Notre Dame, Columbia, Drew, Louisville, and Florida — and lived the process herself as a player. Brittany Read is a professional lacrosse player, Team England international, and former University of Denver assistant coach.

RECRUITING CLARITY PROGRAM

WHO IS THIS FOR

YOUR GAME. YOUR PLAN.

Every stage of recruiting looks different. We meet athletes exactly where they are — from youth players whose parents need a roadmap, all the way through seniors closing in on a commitment.

MS

 MIDDLE SCHOOL & YOUTH

Recruiting is not the main focus at this stage.  Our goal is to build a love for the sport. Focus on movement quality, lacrosse fundamentals, developing the full athlete, and healthy training and competition habits. We prioritize long-term physical and emotional foundation over results.

9TH GRADE

FRESHMAN

The clock is real. Evaluate offers, manage your visit list, communicate like a recruit, and close in on your decision with confidence. This is often the highest-leverage recruiting year. Manage outreach, visits, coach feedback, athletic performance, and academic fit in one coordinated plan. Adjust targets quickly based on real traction.

8TH GRADE

RISING FRESHMAN

Primary goal: build foundational skills, habits, and competitive mindset. Begin having honest conversations about long-term potential and level of play. Increasing lacrosse IQ is a major emphasis. Start collecting film and any important athletic information about yourself for future evaluation and development purposes.

SOPHOMORES

The most important year most athletes underuse. Active outreach, camp strategy, and getting honest about fit ,athletically and academically.

Summer after sophomore year-his becomes a major inflection point. Coaches often begin evaluating the class more seriously. Prospect camps, targeted outreach, and strong updates become much more consequential.

Still uncommitted? Transfer portal curious? Walk-on consideration? Late in the process doesn't mean out of options.

For those verbally committed: Close the process. Support final outreach, fit decisions, admissions timing, and final Eligibility Center tasks.
