RECRUITING SERVICES
A CLEARER RECRUITING PATH
Most lacrosse families are navigating the recruiting process with so many unknowns, no real roadmap, no honest answers, and no one who has actually been on both sides of the table.
Both Crysti Foote and Brittany Read have over 20 years of experience.
Crysti coached at Notre Dame, Columbia, Drew, Louisville, and Florida — and lived the process herself as a player. Brittany Read is a professional lacrosse player, Team England international, and former University of Denver assistant coach.
Now we bring that to you through The Lax SkillHaus Recruiting Clarity Program.

RECRUITING CLARITY PROGRAM
WHO IS THIS FOR
YOUR GAME. YOUR PLAN.
Every stage of recruiting looks different. We meet athletes exactly where they are.
YOUTH
PLAYER DEVELOPMENT FOCUS
Recruiting is not the main focus at this stage. Our goal is to build a love for the sport. We prioritize movement quality, lacrosse fundamentals, developing the full athlete. We prioritize long-term physical and emotional foundation over results.
9TH GRADE
FRESHMAN
Development is still the priority — recruiting assets only get built once the collegiate-level quality is there. We help build your first profile, break down your film, and map out where your game fits among college lacrosse levels.

The highest-leverage year. The clock is real. We manage outreach, visits, coach feedback, athletic performance, and academic fit as one coordinated plan — and adjust targets quickly based on real traction. This is where we evaluate offers and help you build and manage your visit list.
8TH GRADE
THE FOUNDATION
Foundational skills, habits, and competitive mindset comes first. We start having honest conversations about long-term potential and begin building lacrosse IQ and long term habits. This is also when we start collecting film and basic athletic information for future reference.
10TH GRADE
SOPHOMORES
The most important year in recruiting. We get active on outreach, build a camp strategy, and get honest about fit — athletically and academically. The summer after sophomore year is a major inflection point: coaches start evaluating the class seriously, and prospect camps and outreach start to matter a lot more.

Still uncommitted? Exploring the transfer portal or a walk-on path? Late in the process doesn't mean out of options — we'll help you find the right one. For athletes already verbally committed, we support final outreach, fit decisions, admissions timing, and Eligibility Center tasks to close things out.

TESTIMONIALS
" When I look back on my journey I can definitely say it was stressful, yet truly exhilarating all at the same time. But the more I reflect on the process, I have to acknowledge that I was more than enough prepared and navigated through it pretty well. With that being said, I attribute my preparedness and my success to you. You were always there to help me when I needed it the most and those moments did not go unnoticed".
-Haven D (Class of 2026 Princeton)
Navigating through the college recruiting process is not for the faint of heart! Our family first met Crysti when she was a coach Recruiting my daughters. Even then, she cared about not only the girls but our entire family and offered great advice to help us. With the new recruiting rules, Crysti’s knowledge provides insight. Her calm, forthright and straight shooting demeanor is a calming presence in the midst of the September 1st contact chaos.
Crysti guided my daughters as they narrowed down their list and helped them to figure out what they wanted. Crysti’s course of direction helped my girls feel certain and confident in making a decision to commit. She was with us every step of the way and we will forever be grateful for her. She definitely helped us to get a Foote ahead and stay sane during the recruiting process.
